Too much Liming

>> Saturday 20 September 2008

"I don’t have grand designs of starting a lime and salt revolution with this column (actually, I’d like to start such a revolution, but I’m going to hold back). All I ask is that you read this with an open mind. If I can free just one person from his or her obsession with lime and salt then I will be a happy woman." Click here to read the rest of the column and perhaps join me in the call for a revolution?

The past couple of weeks I've been spending more time than usual in the kitchen, testing out some recipes, adapting others and putting my twist on things. This week I want to share with you a recipe I adapted to suit my taste. My tasters were very pleased with the result and so I am delighted to share with you a Savoury Bread. This is a bread that will soon become one of your go-to bakes when it comes to making something special and different for breakfast, brunch or tea. I'm waiting to share the recipe with you, just click here and let me know.

Made with sauteed onions, bacon and cheese, this bread is soft and a treat to bite into, tasting salty bits of bacon, sweet onions and flavourful cheese.
This week over at Forgive Me My Nonsense... my friend Bee has another thought-provoking post, Women who hate Women. Bee wonders why women are so hostile to other women. I am still thinking through my response. We'd love to hear what you think, just come on over.
