I used Jasmin rice. The ratio for cooking this rice is 1 cup rice to 1 and a 1/3(third) cups of water.<BR/>I put the water to boil, washed the rice and added it along with salt and some oil. I let it boil, covered until I could see the surface of the rice. I then turned the burner to simmer and let it do so for 20 minutes.
