Believe it a not, the chinese used them for praying on the 1st day of the Mid Autumn Festival (Moon Fest). Afterwards, mom would usually steamed them until soften, and dip them with sugar, or eat them plain. Kids just love them. Anyway, on the yams, love them all. Have you tried the purple yams, skinny looking ones?
