I liked all the ritual for Christmas preparation and marinating fruits for a year. Actually in Cyprus we also make a Christmas fruit cake. On our part we invest a lot of time of making our own fruit preserves, which we use in the cake. Next year I shall have this in mind and shall marinate my fruit to see how it works.
