National Dish-Fried Rice?

What do you think? Should we make fried rice a national dish of Guyana? Read the column where I've put forward my case.

It's amazing the things we take for granted. I never realised how big a role fried rice plays in our lives. Thanks for pointing it out Cynthia. I myself have often been caught up in finding out the best way to cook the rice in order to make fried rice. What do you do?

@ Grace - I steam the rice. I follow a technique my mom learnt from a friend of hers who is Chinese. I'll write a post shortly on how it is done.
